Maintain constant communication with truck drivers to verify their current physical locations, check their Electronic Logging Device (ELD) hours, and calculate Estimated Times of Arrival (ETAs). Monitor active shipments in real-time from the exact moment of pickup, through transit lanes, until the final delivery confirmation is issued. Log precise real-time load statuses, delays, and driver notes into the company’s internal Transportation Management System (TMS). Update external customer and broker-specific tracking portals (such as Macropoint, Project44, or specialized client websites) to prevent communication gaps.
